Upright meaning
Ten staves carried alone to the village. The destination is in sight but the load blocks the view. You can finish — but let this be the last time you do everything alone.
If it were reversed
You are already past the limit. If you do not put it down or share it, it is not the load that breaks first but the body. Delegating is not defeat.
