Upright meaning
This is the hand that sets order. Results follow when you move by principle rather than mood, by system rather than impulse. The card asks you to set your own standard and then be the one accountable to it.
If it were reversed
Discipline has hardened into a wall. If the more you grip, the more slips away, the moment calls for flexibility rather than force. It can also mark friction with a boss or an institution.
